Updated guide to judicial conduct published

A revised guide to judicial conduct has been published by the Courts and Tribunals Judiciary.

Revisions include changes to the statement of expected behaviour to ensure all judicial office-holders are aware of the standards expected of them, removal of gender-specific pronouns, updated guidance on media, social media and conflicts of interest, alongside other minor amendments.

The guide assists judges, tribunal members, coroners and magistrates in relation to their conduct and contains core principles which help them reach their own decisions. It can be found on the judiciary.uk website here.
