Wanted: Deputy High Court Judges

Up to 14 judicial candidates are required for appointment as Deputy High Court Judges (DHCJ) to sit in the Queen’s Bench (civil not crime) and Family Divisions.

The Judicial Appointments Commission (JAC) will launch the selection exercise on 16 July. This is the first opportunity for practitioners without any previous judicial experience to apply for an open DHCJ exercise run by the JAC. 

Applicants should be barristers or solicitors with at least seven years’ post-qualification experience. Existing judges may also apply. No specialisms are required. Visit here for more information.
