Tax expert joins as consultant

Womble Bond Dickinson (WBD) has welcomed Bob Savic to the team as a tax consultant in the London office.

Bob has spent more than 20 years of his career working with major accounting firms across the globe, including Ernst & Young Singapore, Deloitte Russia and CIS, and PricewaterhouseCoopers Central and Eastern Europe. He brings with him vast experience of advising on cross-border tax matters, both corporate taxation on behalf of international companies, and the tax matters of high net worth individuals. His areas of expertise include tax issues surrounding major transactions such as M&A deals, multi-jurisdictional tax structuring, and transfer pricing.

Commenting on the appointment, WBD managing partner and head of the London office Jonathan Blair said: ‘We're delighted to welcome Bob to our growing London practice. His knowledge in tax law as well as his experience across many jurisdictions will strengthen our offering in some of our key sectors and his specialism will provide added value to our clients.’

Bob added: ‘WBD has an impressive client portfolio across a large number of sectors which brings many opportunities to work on very exciting projects. I look forward to working with the team here in London, nationally and in the US.’
