Professional indemnity specialist joins in Leeds

Womble Bond Dickinson (WBD) has strengthened its insurance disputes team with the addition of associate Ian Drew in the Leeds office.

Ian joins the firm after more than two years with insurance group QBE, and previously spent eight years as a senior associate with Walker Morris LLP. He specialises in professional indemnity, and is experienced advising on high-value claims for a broad range of clients deriving from the technology, media, accountancy and medical sectors.

Partner and head of the team Sushma MacGeoch said: ‘Ian joins us with an impressive level of expertise in the insurance and claims sector and we're delighted to welcome him to our growing insurance disputes group.
