Save the Children UK is the latest charity to benefit from a £500 donation from AlphaBiolabs via the company’s Giving Back initiative

For every testing instruction received from family law and social work professionals, AlphaBiolabs enters the customer’s name into its bi-monthly Giving Back draw to ‘win’ a £500 donation for their chosen charity

Monika Humagain, a Solicitor at Harringtons in Birmingham, was randomly selected in the company’s latest draw and nominated Save the Children UK to receive the donation.

Save the Children focuses on children living in crisis or poverty, both in the UK and around the world. The organisation supports access to healthcare, nutrition and education, and helps protect children in humanitarian emergencies, and from exploitation and violence.

Monika said: 'As a Solicitor practising children and family law, I see first-hand how vulnerable children can be when their basic needs and rights are not met. Save the Children UK has a great record of making a real difference in children's lives. Contributing to this charity’s work aligns with my belief that all children deserve a fair start in life'

Jessica Walker, Regional Corporate Lead at Save the Children UK, said: 'Thank you to both Monika and AlphaBiolabs for generously supporting our work in the UK and overseas. We depend on donations such as this to help create a world where all children are fed, cared for and treated fairly.'

Rachel Davenport, Director at AlphaBiolabs, added: 'Save the Children UK does vital work protecting some of the most vulnerable children. We're proud to play a part in their mission with our latest Giving Back donation.'

The next Giving Back winner will be announced in September.
