Leading corporate &commercial lawyer joins growing firm
Leading corporate and commercial lawyer Andrew Ellis has joined growing law firm Rubric, which has offices in Bath and London.
Andrew, who joins Rubric as a partner, advises on corporate matters such as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, business formation and corporate governance. He also advises on commercial matters and contracts, including the supply of goods and services, e-commerce, website terms and compliance, distribution and logistics, technology licensing, marketing, franchising, data protection and confidentiality.
Prior to joining Rubric, Andrew worked at Linklaters in the City and in Hong Kong, and then at the Boston office of a leading US firm. He then spent nine years as vice president and European general counsel of a Fortune 500 company, responsible for all legal matters across four retail brands in the UK and Europe.
Andrew says: “Rubric’s innovative approach to delivering legal services is a very attractive proposition. We are able to offer a top-level service to corporate and commercial clients at costs which are considerably lower than those which they would be asked to pay elsewhere.”
