Angela Robertson & Kevin Harris—Taylor Wessing

Appointments to management team

Taylor Wessing has announced two senior appointments to its UK management team.

Angela Robertson has joined the firm as director of risk and general counsel-designate (she will formally succeed Neil White as GC when he retires in April 2015).

Her role will include managing the firm's regulatory and compliance affairs and advising the board on risk and risk management arising not only regarding our professional practice, but also in respect of our commercial activities. She will coordinate risk issues for the firm internationally and will become chair of the International Risk Management Committee. She will also bring considerable valuable experience in respect of the GC role from her time at Eversheds.

Kevin Harris has also joined Taylor Wessing as IT director. Kevin was previously technology director at Deloitte UK, managing its technology projects portfolio and leading a team of 100. He has spent the last three years working as technology director for a digital start-up within Deloitte, Deloitte Digital, which identifies and implements digital products that generate new revenue streams for Deloitte. In this role he created the technology strategy, built capability by recruiting a core team, and put in place a network of trusted partners.

UK managing partner Tim Eyles comments: "We look forward to benefiting from Angela's wise counsel both in the context of risk and as general counsel.

"Kevin will help us to develop genuine differentiating and revenue-generating technology for our clients, by aligning IT investment to our business goals.

"Both Angela and Kevin bring with them a fresh perspective and superb experience. I'm confident that they will add real value to our business."
