Astraea Group—Robert Bedford

ABS law firm announces partner promotion

Astraea Group, the multidisciplinary ABS law firm, has announced that effective 1 July 2023, Robert Bedford has been promoted to partner, having held the position of legal director.

Robert, who joined the firm in early 2021, will continue to advise businesses including multinationals, state-owned entities and ultra-high worth individuals on complex disputes which often involve an international angle. He has managed some of the most significant matters we have advised on since inception and has played a key role in the firm’s growth over the last two and a half years.

Nina Stewart, co-founder and partner of Astraea Group said: 'James and I are delighted to welcome Rob as a Partner. His experience and background has been hugely valuable as we have grown and we are confident that he will continue to play a significant role as we expand and strengthen our multidisciplinary offering.'

Robert Bedford, partner said: 'I am excited by the opportunity to continue to work with James, Nina and the rest of the team, including the newly hired partner Piers Rake, to further grow Astraea Group. Our multidisciplinary offering is of huge value to our clients, and I am looking forward to further developing this.'
