B P Collins—Emma Leavesley

Family law specialist joins Thames Valley & City law firm

B P Collins has expanded its family team with the appointment of new partner, Emma Leavesley.

Emma joins from Penningtons Manches Cooper, where she specialised in pre- and post-nuptial agreements, complex financial remedy proceedings, private law children cases and cross border matters. As a member of Resolution’s National Wellbeing committee and a mental health first aider, Emma has extensive experience with clients who may be struggling with their mental health.

Working primarily from B P Collins’ Oxfordshire office in Thame, Emma will advise on all aspects of family law including divorce and separation, the breakdown of cohabiting relationships, finances and arrangements for children.

Emma Leavesley says: “I am thrilled to join the team at B P Collins and have the opportunity to work with some of the best family lawyers in the region who cover a wide range of family matters. Our team’s combined experience, expertise and empathy means that every client can be assured of the best possible experience and outcome.”

Simon Deans, B P Collins’ senior partner, adds: “Emma has proven throughout her career that she is committed to providing an exceptional service to her clients. Her approach to complex matters is strategic, pragmatic and constructive, while she also fully understands the emotional needs of her clients at, what can be, a very stressful time.  We are delighted that Emma has joined our team, as B P Collins continues to grow and offers an increasing number of services.”
