The Bar Council has opened a new office in Brussels. The council says the new premises will allow it to respond more swiftly and effectively to policy initiatives and developments, communicating the knowledge and expertise of the English Bar to European policy makers. Bar chairman Tim Dutton QC says: “The presence of the Bar Council in Brussels is a vital part of our international strategy.”
