Birketts recruits new Corporate Senior Associate

Senior Associate Matthew Ratcliffe has joined Birketts’ top-tier Corporate Team, boosting the team’s presence in London.

Matthew has previous relevant legal experience in both the UK and parts of southeast Asia and will be contributing to Birketts’ growing international offering. In the UK, he worked as a corporate Associate focusing predominantly on private company M&A, private equity, and joint ventures. In Southeast Asia, he acted as in-house legal counsel for a group of companies, which provided fund management and investment advisory services to funds that invested in listed securities and private equity opportunities in southeast Asia.

Speaking after his appointment Matthew said: “It is an exciting time to join Birketts.
