Firm grows tax team with legal director appointment

Leading law firm Blake Morgan has appointed tax specialist Camilla James as a legal director in the succession and tax team.

Camilla joins the firm from Saffery Champness with a wealth of experience working with individuals, families, trustees and business owners.  She will support the team in offering a wide range of private client services, bringing particular expertise in business and agricultural matters.

Her specialisms include capital taxes and succession advice, as well as will planning and trusts, and she has been a trusted adviser to many clients on complex inheritance and capital gains issues.

Since qualifying in 2007, Camilla has held positions at Legal 500 and Chambers ranked law firms and a ‘big four’ accountancy firm, as well as working in-house as a senior tax adviser at the Country Land and Business Association.

Helen Bunker, head of private client at Blake Morgan, said: 'Camilla will be a superb addition to our excellent succession and tax team as it expands and we look forward to benefiting from the extra knowledge and expertise she will bring.  From her in-house work across the agricultural and accountancy sectors, to her experience as a trusted adviser to high net worth individuals, she will strengthen the team and the top quality service we offer to our clients.'
