Blake Morgan expands private client and regulatory teams with new legal directors
UK law firm Blake Morgan has marked the halfway point of the year with the appointment of two new legal directors. Jennifer Ray and Louise Culleton will bring their expertise to the firm’s Private Client and Regulatory teams respectively, as demand for specialist advice in these groups continues to grow.
The appointments build on Blake Morgan’s summer 2026 promotions, which saw six lawyers promoted to Legal Director from 1 July. Jennifer joins Blake Morgan's growing London office, which has welcomed seven new partners since 2025 as the firm continues to invest in its presence in the capital, while Louise returns to the firm’s Reading office, where she previously worked as a barrister from 2014-2019.
Jennifer brings over 20 years’ experience in litigation to the Private Client team. She advises private individuals, charities, trustees, and executors on a wide range of matters, including resolving complex disputes involving wills, trusts, and estates - and has been praised in Legal 500 for being “very experienced and personable”, and as having a “stand out” ability to quickly judge the strengths and weaknesses of her clients’ cases.
Meanwhile, Louise has returned to Blake Morgan’s Regulatory team. She has almost twenty years of experience in professional regulation, and has become a trusted adviser to statutory regulators, while also acting on behalf of clients appearing before professional disciplinary tribunals across the healthcare and legal sectors, including the Solicitors Regulatory Authority, the General Dental Council, the General Chiropractic Council, Social Work England and the General Optical Council.
Helen Bunker, Chair at Blake Morgan, said:
'It is a pleasure to welcome a lawyer of Jennifer's calibre to the firm, and equally to welcome Louise back to Blake Morgan, bringing with her the valuable experience and insight she has gained since she was last with us.
'These appointments, following our recent round of promotions which saw six lawyers promoted to Legal Director, reflect our continued investment in strengthening our teams and supporting the firm's strategic growth. We are committed to developing outstanding talent from within while also attracting exceptional lawyers whose expertise enhances our capabilities and enables us to continue delivering the highest quality advice and service to our clients.'
