UK law firm Burges Salmon is pleased to announce that Benn Richards has joined the firm as a partner in its Dispute Resolution department. Benn’s appointment
strengthens the firm’s contentious insolvency and restructuring capability.
Benn,
who joins from Michelmores, has extensive experience advising insolvency
practitioners, lenders, corporates and directors on complex and high-value
disputes. His practice spans claims arising from insolvency processes,
including wrongful trading, misfeasance and breach of duty, as well as wider
commercial disputes linked to financial distress and restructuring scenarios.
His
appointment enhances Burges Salmon’s Dispute Resolution offering, adding
further depth to the firm’s capabilities in handling complex, high-stakes
litigation. The team advises clients across a wide range of sectors on
commercial disputes, investigations and risk management, and works closely with
colleagues across the firm, including restructuring, corporate, built
environment and financial services specialists, to deliver integrated support.
