After studying law at the University of Oxford and training at a Magic Circle law firm, Elliot qualified as a solicitor of England and Wales in 2010. He was subsequently called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2013 and admitted as an Advocate of the Royal Court of Guernsey in 2024

Joanna supports families, individuals, trustees and other professionals serving high and ultra-high net worth families with asset planning, philanthropy, family company structures, dispute resolution and mental capacity issues. She was previously managing director of Praxis' Hong Kong office and a partner leading the private wealth team – China at Herbert Smith Freehills (now HSF Kramer). Joanna is qualified in New Zealand (2007), Hong Kong (2016), and England and Wales (2024). She is actively involved in STEP, having chaired its Hong Kong branch and now serving on the Guernsey branch and the Contentious Trusts and Estates Special Interest Group Steering Committee. Joanna was admitted as an Advocate of the Royal Court of Guernsey in 2025.

Based in Jersey, Lizzie acts for both lenders and borrowers on a range of debt finance transactions, including real estate finance, leveraged finance and general corporate lending. Lizzie also supports clients with deal structuring, refinancing and debt restructuring. Before joining Carey Olsen in 2022, Lizzie spent 10 years in Macfarlanes' banking and finance practice. She was admitted as an Advocate of the Royal Court of Jersey in 2024.

Amelia specialises in Cayman, BVI and Bermuda commercial litigation, with a focus on complex, multi-jurisdictional shareholder / director litigation, corporate disputes, fraud and asset tracing and cross-border insolvency and restructuring matters. She has acted for clients at all levels of the offshore courts, including the Privy Council, and regularly advises on contentious digital assets and cryptocurrency matters. Amelia is a director of the International Women's Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC) Singapore Network and was previously the Chairperson.
