Two new additions for family department
Payne Hicks Beach has announced that Catherine Costley has joined the firm from Pennington Manches as an associate. Catherine will work closely with leading family lawyer Rebecca Cockcroft who joined the firm from Pennington Manches as a consultant in May.
Catherine’s practice encompasses all aspects of private family law. She has particular expertise in high value financial remedy cases and private children law issues including contact disputes and leave to remove applications. The majority of her work has an international element.
Rebecca and Catherine have a reputation as a formidable team. A recent case, in which they discharged an ex parte injunction and established proper process and parameters for such applications, has just been reported in the Law Reports.
Peter Black, managing partner, says: “We are thrilled that Rebecca Cockcroft and Catherine Costley have joined the firm. Their arrival strengthens an already renowned department. Payne Hicks Beach has an internationally recognised Family team and we are extremely proud of the work that is being carried out by the department as we continue to grow. Excellence for our clients is at the core of everything we do.”
