The first wholly Chinese-owned law practice in London, YangTze Law, has launched as an alternative business structure (ABS). It aims to target Chinese corporates investing in Europe as China’s overseas investment steps up. YangTze is the first overseas firm of the YangTzejiang Legal Network, a group of 40 law firms with 3,000 lawyers across China. Malcolm Dickinson, managing partner at Michelmores, will act as its chief executive while maintaining his existing role.
