Reputation is the most important consideration when choosing a solicitor, a YouGov survey commissioned by the Legal Services Consumer Panel has found. It surveyed 1,864 people generally and 1,523 who have used legal services in the past two years. Only a quarter shopped around, and 68% made no effort to compare providers. Price was the second highest consideration for clients, followed by convenience of location.
