Quartet of promotions at Southampton Law firm
Southampton law firm Clarke Willmott LLP has announced four promotions as the firm continues to expand its senior team.
Paul Hinett has been made partner in the commercial property division while Zena Westerman in the employment team, Emma Couch in the corporate team and Daniel Berry in the intellectual property team have all been promoted to associates.
Paul joined the firm in 2013 and has extensive experience in all general commercial property matters including the acquisition and disposal of commercial investment property, commercial landlord and tenant and land acquisition. He has also acted for a number of national and local residential housing developers and landowners including Bellway Homes, David Wilson Homes and MJH Development Ltd.
Zena also joined Clarke Willmott in 2013, and advises on a range of employment law including dismissals, contracts of employment, settlement agreements, employment aspects of mergers and acquisitions, redundancies, tribunal claims and HR issues. Emma qualified in 2011 after training with Clarke Willmott and works with businesses on a range of corporate transactions including share purchases, asset purchases, MBO's, JVC's and reorganisations of businesses. Daniel specialises in all aspects of intellectual property law, including trademarks, designs, domain names, copyright, patents and confidential information. He trained as a solicitor at an international law firm in London and Madrid and spent time on secondment with a number of Football League clubs before joining Clarke Willmott.
