Davenport Lyons welcomes new IP partner

Leading West End law firm, Davenport Lyons, is pleased to announce the arrival of a new Partner to the Intellectual Property (IP) team, Colin Sawdy. Colin specialises in a number of areas of IP including Trade Marks, Design, and Copyright, Contentious and Non-Contentious IP.

Colin has previously acted for clients in the electronics, finance and leisure industries. Having lived in Japan for some years, he is fluent in the language and liaises with his numerous clients in Japanese. Colin is also admitted to the State Bar of Illinois, USA.

Kevin Bays, Business Group Head said, “Colin will be a great addition to the IP team here at Davenport Lyons. He brings a great understanding of international markets particularly Japan and the USA and will be an integral member of this growing practice area.”
