Disputes boutique bolsters international arbitration offering with double appointment

Dispute resolution boutique Cooke, Young & Keidan LLP has appointed Julia Ogievetsky as senior associate and Hazel He as associate to the firm.

Julia (pictured) joins from White & Case, where she was an associate in their litigation and arbitration teams. As a commercial disputes specialist, Julia has a particular focus on international arbitration (both under a variety of institutional rules and ad hoc), primarily advising states and major corporations.

Hazel He joins from King & Wood Mallesons in Hong Kong where she was an associate, and relocated to London in late 2022. She has experience in international arbitration, commercial litigation, insolvency and contentious regulatory matters.

Their appointments will further strengthen CYK’s flourishing international arbitration practice and support the firm’s long term growth strategy.

Sinead O’Callaghan, managing partner at Cooke, Young and Keidan, says: 'We are very excited to welcome Julia and Hazel to CYK—the expertise they bring will be a great asset for our practice. I look forward to working with Julia and Hazel to help our clients navigate complex disputes.'
