In a speech to the Family Bar Association, the president of the family division said some court processes will be almost entirely conducted online. Divorce and probate were two prime examples. Divorce applicants, often unrepresented, would issue proceedings through an online questionnaire. He said entirely paperless courts could become a reality in the next four years of the government’s courts modernisation programme.
