Edwin Coe—two promotions

Partnership expands with double promotion

Edwin Coe has announced that Brendan O’Shea and Brenna Baye have been promoted to the partnership. Both were previously senior associates—Brenna within the construction team and Brendan in the private client team.

Brenna (pictured) undertook her training at the firm and qualified into the construction team in September 2013. Since qualification, she has advised employers, contractors, funders, developers and consultants in relation to a myriad of issues arising throughout the lifecycle of a construction project.

Prior to qualifying as a solicitor, Brenna worked in the IT industry both in Canada and the United Kingdom.

Edwin Coe’s head of property, Stephen Brower, commented: 'I am thrilled to welcome Brenna to the Partnership. Her promotion is very well deservedshe is a skilled lawyer and a key member of the Construction team and the wider Property team.'

Brendan specialises in dealing with intestate estates which often involve complex situations and identifying beneficiaries who were previously unknown to the deceased. The practice maintains a high volume of cases and all aspects of estate administration, including the reconstruction of the deceased’s financial profile.

Alison Broadberry, Edwin Coe’s head of private client, commented: 'I am delighted to welcome Brendan into the partnership at Edwin Coe after 17 years of dedicated service growing his practice area; his wealth of experience and specialist knowledge is invaluable.'

Since the start of 2021, Edwin Coe has grown with the addition of two new lateral hire partners in Daniel Bellau (corporate) and Christina Fitzgerald (restructuring & insolvency) alongside the promotion of Brenna and Brendan to the partnership.
