Emma Stainwright & Joanna Jackson—Steele Raymond

Senior promotions for commercial property team

Commercial law firm Steele Raymond LLP has announced two senior promotions within its top tier commercial property team. Emma Stainwright has become a partner, while Joanna Jackson has been promoted to senior associate.

Emma has over 13 years’ experience in the housebuilding and social housing sectors. She has been central to some of the key strategic land assemblies, joint ventures and site acquisitions across the south.

Emma says: “I’m delighted to have accepted a partnership position with Steele Raymond, it is a very positive time for the firm with the commercial property team going from strength to strength in all sectors. There are lots of opportunities for us in both local and more regional markets and I’m looking forward to capitalising on these going forward.”

Joanna is an integral part of the commercial property team and is known for her expertise in commercial landlord and tenant work. She qualified with a regional firm nine years ago, joining Steele Raymond in 2014, and has rapidly built up a wide ranging caseload.

Chris Twaits, head of the commercial property team, says: “It is a real pleasure to announce these latest promotions for two highly valued members of the team, underlining what an exciting time it is to be at Steele Raymond. Our top-tier commercial property team is well recognised as a leading player not just in Dorset but across the south coast region, and both Emma and Joanna have been key in developing that position with the excellent service they provide for clients every day. These promotions recognise that dedication, commitment and success.”
