About two-thirds of applicants would go through with it. The estimates are based on data from comparable jurisdictions.
The Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill, due to have its next Commons debate at Report Stage in mid-May, has been changed to clarify that no medical professionals would be required to participate in assistance under the Bill.
