Erica Buchan Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners

Erica Buchan has been rewarded for two and half years of study after being named the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners’ (STEP) outstanding Scottish student of the year for 2009–10.

The Aberdeen solicitor picked up her award at a recent dinner in London. Erica picked up the accolade after topping the grades in STEP’s “trusts law and practice”, and “trusts and executry accounting” classes.

Chairman, David Laing says: “The STEP exams are certainly raising the bar for private client solicitors in this specialist area of work.”
