Three-lawyer team hire boosts Excello Law’s property litigation practice
Leading multinational
fee-share firm Excello Law has grown its property litigation offering with the
addition of a three-strong team of experienced lawyers. Claire-Elaine
Arthurs (pictured), Rhian Horwill and Caroline Lamming-Chowen
all join from fee-share platform Gunnercooke, a UK top 100 firm.
Claire-Elaine Arthurs leads
the team as a property disputes specialist partner. She has more than twenty
years of experience solving problems and managing risk across property
litigation, regulatory (including public law) and governance matters. Claire-Elaine
acts for a range of clients including property and estate managers, local
authorities, landlords and tenants, company directors and boards, helping them
proactively mitigate risk and resolve disputes.

Rhian Horwill is an
accomplished litigator and advises on a broad range of property and commercial
disputes, including landlord and tenant matters, lease interpretation,
dilapidations, boundary disputes and litigation strategy. She also has
significant experience in governance, compliance and risk management, with a
strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, contract oversight and
organisational decision-making.
Caroline Lamming-Chowen has
over a decade of experience resolving property and construction disputes,
dealing with commercial litigation, inquests, public and regulatory law. She
advises individuals, families, businesses, local authorities, healthcare organisations
and regulatory bodies. Caroline is particularly experienced in complex
investigations, high-stakes disputes and regulatory submissions, conducting
advocacy in Court and other forums as needed.
The new arrivals join during
a consistent growth period for Excello, which celebrated record annual turnover
in its latest results. Total turnover has grown 224% overall since 2022 while
the firm has maintained its approach of selectively hiring only top-quality
lawyers.
