Sheffield expansion continues with appointment of commercial property partner
Flint Bishop has continued its expansion in Sheffield with the appointment of Charlotte Harris as Partner in its Commercial Property team, based at the Firm's new Sheffield office at 1 Holly Street, which opened earlier this month as part of its continued investment in the region.
Harris brings more than 20 years' experience in commercial property, advising a broad range of clients including investment businesses, banks, healthcare operators and organisations across the energy, renewables and waste sectors. Her experience includes large-scale portfolio acquisitions, commercial property sales and acquisitions, secured lending, refinancing and supporting wider corporate transactions.
This is Flint Bishop’s second senior appointment in as many weeks, following the recent arrival of Corporate Partner Russell Bainbridge. Securing two senior hires represents a major coup for Flint Bishop as it continues its ambitious growth strategy in Sheffield.
Harris has developed particular expertise in the healthcare sector, working with GPs, funders and care home operators on property acquisitions, disposals and financing. She also brings significant experience in the waste and renewables sector, including a previous secondment with FCC Environment.
Having spent much of her career in Sheffield, Harris has held senior positions at a number of regional and national firms, most recently as a Partner at Knights. Her appointment further strengthens Flint Bishop's Commercial Property offering and adds significant experience to its growing Sheffield team.
Charlotte Harris, Partner in the Commercial Property team at Flint Bishop, said:
"The opportunity to join Flint Bishop as it continues its expansion across Sheffield is one that truly excites me. The Firm has a clear ambition for the region and, having spent much of my career supporting businesses and organisations across the city's vibrant market, it's a pleasure to be part of Flint Bishop as it establishes itself as a growing force in the city."
Qamer Ghafoor, Chief Executive at Flint Bishop, said:
"Charlotte's appointment represents another significant step forward for Flint Bishop as we continue to invest in Sheffield and strengthen our presence across the region. Her extensive experience, strong understanding of the local market and expertise across key sectors make her an excellent addition to our Commercial Property team.
"Following the opening of our new Sheffield office, Charlotte's arrival adds further momentum to our growth in the city and demonstrates our commitment to building a leading legal presence in Sheffield and across the North."
Flint Bishop now operates from seven offices across the UK, with continued investment in its people, regional presence and service offering supporting the Firm's ongoing growth strategy.
