Gateley Legal has expanded its residential development practice in Manchester with the appointments of partner Billy Poulter and associate Shay Moore. The hires form part of the firm's continued investment in the North West residential development market.
Poulter joins with more than 13 years of experience in residential development and regeneration, having previously worked at Clarke Willmott, DAC Beachcroft and Trowers & Hamlins. He advises housebuilders, developers, registered providers and public sector bodies on land acquisitions and disposals, including development projects involving public-private sector collaboration.
Moore brings more than five years of experience advising housebuilders on residential development matters. He joins from Clarke Willmott, having also worked at Butcher & Barlow, and will work alongside partners Dan Kendall, Louise Ilhan and Nick Molloy as part of the wider Manchester-based team.
Dan Kendall, residential development partner at Gateley Legal, said the appointments demonstrate the firm's ‘commitment to the region’. He added that Poulter and Moore are ‘high calibre hires with excellent reputations’ who will ‘enhance our support for housebuilder and developer clients’.
