Go probate & compare

A price comparison website for probate fees has been launched, letting consumers shop around for the best deal from solicitors or probate specialists. Oratto, a legal services website, says it launched the fixed-fee probate quote engine to offer consumers greater transparency over fees and help them find the right solicitor.

Kevin Nessling, CEO of Oratto, said: ‘The first lawyers participating in the project have helped enormously with developing the system. In the seven days following launch we have seen over £18m of estate administration work through the system already.’
