Harneys is pleased to share news of senior leadership appointments within the firm. Maggie Kwok (pictured) was appointed global head of the firm’s Transactional practice and, in this role, has joined the firm’s Executive Committee. George Weston was elected to the firm’s Executive Committee.
Maggie continues to serve as global head of the firm’s Financial Services practice, which sits within the wider Transactional offering. Maggie succeeded Paul Sephton following the conclusion of his terms as global head of Transactional and as a member of the Executive Committee. Paul continues as managing partner of the firm’s Hong Kong office and global head of the Banking & Finance practice.
George continues to serve as global head of the firm’s Corporate practice and head of the British Virgin Islands Transactional practice. George succeeded Tanya Cassie-Parker following the conclusion of her term on the Executive Committee.
The Executive Committee, chaired by William Peake, Global Managing Partner, is responsible for developing and implementing the firm’s global strategy.

As the firm’s first global head of Transactional and first chair of the Global Transactional Management Committee, Paul has made a significant contribution to the leadership of our Transactional practice, and I would like to thank him for his outstanding service. I would also like to thank Tanya and Paul for their valuable work on the Executive Committee.”
