Haydn Rogan—Weightmans

New tax partner appointed

Weightmans LLP continues to expand its corporate team with the arrival of Haydn Rogan

Haydn, who is a dual qualified chartered accountant and lawyer, brings nearly 20 years experience in advising clients on a wide range of transactional and employment related tax issues. Haydn qualified as a chartered accountant at PwC in Leeds before then also qualifying as a lawyer. He previously worked at Cobbetts for 8 years, having headed up the tax team there, before joining DWF.

Haydn will divide his time working between the firm’s Pall Mall Court Manchester office, and the Liverpool based head office.

Paul Raftery, partner and head of Weightmans’ corporate and commercial department says: “Haydn is an experienced corporate tax lawyer with a long track record advising clients at national level of all sectors and sizes on tax issues, property matters and employee incentives.

“He is a fantastic addition to the firm and brings with him a significant expertise to drive this side of the business forward, not only in the north west but throughout the UK. We are delighted to have him on board.”

Haydn adds: “I am thrilled to join Weightmans—it is a firm with a fantastic client base and reputation in the region and nationally for its corporate and commercial work. I am looking forward to using my experience to add value and build further success.”
