The Judicial Appointments Commission (JAC) has announced the appointment of The Right Honourable Lady Justice Black DBE and The Honourable Mr Justice Bean as commissioners.

The appointments were approved by The Queen on the recommendation of the lord chancellor following selection by the Judges’ Council.

Lady Justice Black was appointed a Lady Justice of Appeal in June 2010. Mr Justice Bean was appointed a Justice of the High Court in 2004.
