Howard Kennedy—Caroline Urban

Firm strengthens corporate and capital raising specialism with partner hire

Howard Kennedy has appointed Caroline Urban as a partner in its corporate & capital raising specialism. She joins from the London office of MBM Commercial and brings experience advising fast-growing and entrepreneurial businesses, particularly in the technology sector.

Urban advises founders, management teams, investors and intermediaries on private M&A, investment and buy-and-build strategies. Her practice covers the full growth lifecycle, from early-stage development through to investment and exit.

James Stewart, managing partner, said Urban's 'wide-ranging expertise makes her a natural fit' for the firm's corporate & capital raising team, adding that the appointment forms part of Howard Kennedy's strategy of 'creating lasting value and outcomes for our clients'. Marc Proudfoot, head of corporate & capital raising, said her experience and approach 'align closely' with the specialism and reflect its 'continued momentum'.

Urban said she was 'thrilled to be joining Howard Kennedy at an exciting time for the firm', citing its 'clear ambition' and 'strong platform' in corporate & capital raising. She added that she looked forward to helping clients 'manage risk, unlock opportunities and achieve their growth objectives'.
