Blacks Solicitors LLP welcomes on board a new associate Ian Scobbie.

Ian joins from Godloves where he spent 17 years as head of commercial litigation and Insolvency.  

His new role at Blacks will see him focusing on insolvency work and will involve him working for predominantly corporate clients, guiding them through any debt issues. His responsibilities will include debt restructuring and relief, consolidation, bankruptcy and liquidation.

On his appointment Ian commented; “I am delighted to be joining the team at Blacks. My expertise in insolvency, particularly in the field of sport will also complement the work that the firm does in this area. It is a very exciting move for me.”

Managing partner of Blacks, Chris Allen, said “We are delighted to be expanding the commercial litigation team and to welcome Ian to the firm. We know that he will be a great addition to the team and we are thrilled to have him on board.”
