The inaugural UK Probate Research Awards 2019, held last week in London, celebrated members of the probate research profession in the UK and internationally in the first event of its kind.

Taking home the awards for best probate law firm were five firms each representing a different UK region: McClure Solicitors in Scotland; Ramsdens Solicitors for the north of England; Blake Morgan for central England; Blandy & Blandy in the south east and London; and Coole Bevis Solicitors in south England.

The awards for best international probate researcher and best probate research paralegal were both taken home by individuals from Finders International: Ryan Gregory and Katie Watson, respectively.

The ceremony, which was supported by Aviva Legal Indemnities and the National Association of Licensed Paralegals, raised almost £1,000 for Age UK and the Dania Scandinavian School in London through a silent auction.
