Firm appoints new managing director

DAS Law’s acting head, James Christacos, has been confirmed as its new permanent managing director

James qualified as a solicitor in 1997 and has since worked in private practice and in-house, holding a variety of legal, operational, sales, IT and project management roles. Over a decade ago James established a unique online legal marketing company, which matched lawyers with particular areas of specialism with clients requiring those services.  This was highlighted as an example of a future state business model of benefit to lawyers and clients in the Legal Services Act White Paper 2005.

In recent years, James has focused on legal process re-engineering, aligning IT capability with service delivery to make sure that the customer experience is at the forefront of the process. James joined DAS Law to head up operations in September 2013 and was appointed to the board in January 2014.

James says: “I am extremely excited by the opportunity to head up DAS Law. We are already a leading law firm in contentious employment, personal injury and civil and commercial litigation disputes and with the resource, appetite and ambition from both our parent company and our existing business partners we have a fabulous opportunity to rapidly extend our capability to addresses the funding and service delivery needs posed by the current judicial system.”
