York law firm strengthen team with new appointment

Hethertons has recruited a new solicitor to strengthen their successful business support unit.

Jessica Roberts has recently joined the firm, which has offices in York and Boroughbridge, as part of an ongoing expansion of the practice’s highly-qualified team. She has been appointed as Hethertons’ new head of corporate law and will be responsible for working with a range of businesses to deliver all aspects of company commercial law, from company incorporations, through to terms and conditions, commercial contracts and acquisitions.

Jessica began her career with a law firm in Leeds, having qualified in 2001, before moving back to her home town of York, where she has worked for another local firm and developed a number of important business contacts in the town.

“I am absolutely delighted to have joined the team at Hethertons,” said Jessica. “Hethertons have a very strong local reputation for delivering exceptional services and I am looking forward to meeting new clients and working hard on their behalf.”

Simon Crack, director at Hethertons and head of the firm’s business support unit, says: “We are all delighted to be welcoming Jessica to our team of solicitors.”

“Her knowledge and enthusiasm will allow us to continue to provide a range of excellent services to both existing and prospective clients.”
