Julian Manchett—Catherine Higgins Law

Experienced solicitor joins Liverpool City Centre firm

Julian Manchett, a Wirral-based solicitor, has joined Liverpool City Centre firm Catherine Higgins Law

Previously, Julian Manchett was a senior partner at Cornish, Forfar & Allen where he was based for over 30 years.

Catherine Higgins Law is a boutique law firm based in Liverpool’s commercial district and currently has eight members of the team. The firm specialises in asbestos claims, industrial illnesses, personal injury, wills, probate, lasting power of attorney and legal costs.

Julian says: “Having worked with Catherine previously, around 15 years ago, when I was looking to relocate to another firm, the decision was a natural one. I’m absolutely delighted to have found a firm that has the same values towards client care; which is something I consider incredibly important. It’s also extremely pleasant to be involved with such a brilliant team with an ethos and work ethic similar to mine.”

Catherine Higgins, managing director of Catherine Higgins Law, says: “I’ve known Julian for a number of years and it’s great to have such an experienced solicitor join the team. Julian’s ethos marries perfectly with that of Catherine Higgins Law and I believe having him here will complement our philosophy of a respectable and reputable firm perfectly.

“As a values-led, equal opportunities employer, we look for experience, character and expertise in our people—not just youth. I’d like to take this opportunity to formally welcome Julian to the team and look forward to working alongside him and his clients of his 10 remaining cases.”
