Juliet Carey—Byfield Consultancy

Firm creates group director role

Juliet Carey has joined Byfield Consultancy in the newly created role of group director.

Juliet joins from The City UK, the UK-based industry body for financial and related professional services, where she was director of PR and marketing. Prior to this she was head of financial services at Weber Shandwick

As group director, Juliet will assume operational responsibility for the team, client management and new business processes, and will report to Byfield managing director Gus Sellitto.

Gus says: “We are delighted Juliet has joined Byfield. Juliet is a key hire for us as we look to grow our business further in an improving economy. Since Richard Elsen and I founded Byfield in 2007, we have successfully established a highly specialised legal PR business, with a strong client base and track record in litigation PR and reputation management for law firms and their clients. Juliet’s appointment, which will see her take on much of the day-to-day management of the business, allows the founders to focus on growing Byfield further, as well as bringing a fresh, highly experienced perspective to the agency and our clients.”

Juliet comments: “I am excited to be joining Byfield and I am looking forward to applying my knowledge of professional and financial services PR at Byfield, a specialist consultancy with a leading expertise in legal and litigation PR, and particularly to working with the talented team, developing further the services the agency offers to the legal sector.”
