Katy Evans—Asons

Firm appoints new head of human resources

HR expert Katy Evans is now the new head of human resources at Asons Solicitors of Bolton in Greater Manchester. Katy’s background throughout the last 15 years has included taking care of HR for start-ups and SMEs, assisting entrepreneurs with their business growth, driving change management and taking a business to the next step. Katy comes to Asons from a director role at Kinetica Energy when she spent four years working on a robust business strategy.

Katy is especially enthused about the growth opportunities to be had from Asons’ move to purpose-built office premises in 2016, when a huge recruitment drive will take place to double the firm’s capacity. In addition, the business is looking at planned diversification into further types of law and will need new employees to swell the ranks. Even before that takes place, Asons is experiencing a weekly increase in the number of cases and clients that it is offered to handle, and new teams are being brought on board which human resources is currently scouting for.

Katy says: “I want to ensure that Asons continues to be the leading B2C law firm in the Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies To Work For and is worthy of its Investors In People Gold standard accreditation.”
