Barclays Legal won the netball Cup, defeating PwC 15-5 in the final, while CMS (pictured) retained the men’s football Cup after a goalless final against Fieldfisher was decided on penalties. Clyde & Co won the women’s football Cup with a 2-0 victory over CMS.
In mixed tag, first-time entrants BP Supply Trading & Shipping claimed the Cup after beating Law Society RFC. Pinsent Masons won the men’s rugby sevens Cup, overcoming Paris-based Rugby Club du Palais in the final. Twelve teams played rugby, including visitors from Ireland and France; netball was the largest tournament, drawing 28 teams.
The festival also recognised sporting conduct, with Fair Play awards going to Law Society RFC in netball, Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton in men’s football, CMS in women’s football, Mishcon de Reya in mixed tag, and Rugby Club du Palais in rugby sevens.
Tournament director Daniel How said: “The quality of sport on show across the tournament continues to improve year on year.”
