Laytons ETL—Maximilian Kraitt

Commercial firm strengthens real estate disputes team with associate hire

Laytons ETL has appointed Maximilian Kraitt as an associate in its real estate disputes team, as the City firm continues to expand its contentious property offering. He will work closely with Robert Clark, partner and head of real estate disputes, advising a mix of national and international companies, private individuals and investors on commercial and residential property disputes.

Kraitt brings experience acting for high-net-worth individuals, landlords, tenants, co-owners, developers and large property-holding entities. His recent work includes a multimillion-pound trust-related property dispute, eviction and possession matters involving high-value residential assets, and multi-party mediations and developer disputes.

The firm said the appointment comes amid continued growth following its integration into the ETL Global network and its 150th anniversary in 2025, with a particular focus on strengthening its international and multi-jurisdictional capabilities.

Clark said: ‘I am delighted to welcome Maximilian… at a genuinely exciting moment for the practice.’ He added that ‘the property market… is navigating a challenging period’ and that Kraitt’s ‘experience, energy and commitment to excellence will play a major part in helping our clients secure their interests’.
