The Master of the Rolls and the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Justice have signed the 151st and 152nd Practice Direction (PD) updates to the Civil Procedure Rules.

Lexis®Library update: The updates include amendments to PD 51R (Online Civil Money Claims (OCMC) Pilot Scheme), clarifying that prospective ‘Help with Fees’ is not available to legally represented parties using OCMC, and the introduction of PD 51Z (County Court Officers Pilot Scheme), providing a new scheme for Court Officers to be authorised in making paper case management directions by filing standard order templates. The updates came partly into force on 16 November 2022 and the remaining part will come into force on 1 December 2022.

The updates were signed on 15 November 2022, but were published on the Ministry of Justice website after entering partly into force.
