The Courts and Tribunals Judiciary has published a speech made by the Master of the Rolls, Sir Geoffrey Vos, in relation to technological challenges for English law and jurisdiction

Lexis®Library update: The speech considered the need to be able to adapt to changing commercial situations in the technological space. The speech concluded by stating that the judiciary intends to do as much as it can to produce a legal system in England and Wales and a court-based dispute resolution system that embraces technologies. He also suggested that there is an aim to allow disputes arising from financial markets to be resolved efficiently and quickly and at proportionate cost.
