The Civil Procedure Rule Committee (CPRC) has published the minutes of its meeting of 9 June 2023

Lexis+ update: The meeting was conducted in a hybrid format at The Rolls Building (Royal Courts of Justice), Fetter Lane, London and via video conference, and the minutes cover a number of issues.

The issues covered include:

•amendments to CPR PD 42 (Change of Solicitor) and CPR 22 (Statements of Truth), which are due to be incorporated into the next CPR update as part of the October 2023 in-force cycle

•the extension of the Online Civil Money Claims pilot (CPR PD 51R) and Damages Claims Portal pilot (CPR PD 51ZB)

•a suite of minor changes to the amendments made by the Civil Procedure (Amendment No.2) Rules 2023 and related instruments regarding the extension of fixed recoverable costs
