The Courts and Tribunals Judiciary (CTJ) has revised its principles on Transforming Summary Justice in the Magistrates’ Courts.
Lexis®Library update: As of 3 July 2023, courts will be expected follow the principles in order to deliver a ‘more effective and efficient approach to summary justice’. The CTJ has said that the progress of the renewal programme will be monitored throughout the magistrates' courts governance structure.
