The HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) is accepting evidence to assist in reviewing its progress and current position with regards to its ongoing court reform programme.

Lexis®Library update: The programme, which spans crime, civil, family and tribunals, aims to address complex and inefficient case management through the introduction of new technology and working practices. As part of its final phase, the committee will question senior officials at the Ministry of Justice, HMCTS and the Crown Prosecution Service on:

• the progress HMCTS has made against its plans in the face of changing circumstances (such as COVID-19)

• whether HMCTS has planned and rolled out its new digital case management system, ‘Common Platform’, effectively

• whether HMCTS is on course to make a smooth transition to business as usual when the reform programme closes

Anyone with evidence pertaining to these issues can make a submission here. All submissions must be made by 6pm on Monday 20 March 2023.
