Lexis®Library update: The Law Society president, Lubna Shuja, has welcomed this change and has also called on HMCTS to adjust timelines to ensure the changes are realistic and achievable.
Shuja has also said that streamlining court services will assist in addressing the backlog causing delays in criminal and civil justice systems.
Lastly, Shuja has highlighted that the Law Society is still waiting for the publication of the interim evaluation report, the publication of which will show the Law Society service performance and the impact on access to justice.
