The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) has announced investment of £3m into technology start-up incubator CodeBase and legal tech community Legal Geek, in an effort to facilitate the development of technology for use across the legal sector.

Lexis®Library update: From 1 April 2023, the consortium is set to take over the government-backed LawtechUK programme, whose role is to provide resources, programmes and courses to promote novel methods for the provision of legal services. The takeover was hailed by the Justice Minister, Mike Freer, as a move which will ‘nurture new, cutting-edge innovation in the UK’.
